Mechanical Parking Brake System

The ECI prking brake system is a mechanically operated, pinion mounted disc brake system which utilizes a highly efficient ball screw mechanism to provide a static retarding force in excess of 1,800 ft. lbs. - from only 100 lbs. of cable tension. Operation from your standard factory or after market parking brake handle requires no force multiplier or additional leverage mechanisms. A 3 to 1 handle ratio requires just 35 lbs. of handle input force.

The assembly mounts to the standard Ford pinion housing complete with mounting flange and comes complete with a cable assembly to attach to your existing parking brake cable/handle. The disc slips over the yoke and bolts from behind. The yoke does not have to be removed. Specify yoke bolt pattern when ordering (see below).

NOTE: Minor machining of yoke may be required for installation. Call for details.
